Traditional Stucco or "hard coat", as some may refer to it, is a durable, cement-based exterior finish composed of cement, sand, lime, and water, offering 50–100 years of service.
Applied in 2–3 layers over metal lath or masonry, it provides a solid, impact-resistant, and breathable wall system.
This highly impact resistant wall system is much harder than synthetic stucco, allowing for protection against woodpeckers, hail, or any impact.
Proven to stand the test of time, traditional stucco is much more resistant to water damage. This is a great option for structures in places like Colorado, where rain and snow are common.

Synthetic stucco, also known as Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), is a multi-layered, energy-efficient siding material composed of foam insulation board, fiberglass mesh, and an acrylic finish.
Unlike cement-based stucco, it is flexible, crack-resistant, and lightweight. It is popular for superior insulation and design versatility but requires professional installation.
With a base coat layer of 1/16" to 1/4" thick, precision and proper technique is required for this installation.
The result is a clean and modern finish with newfound curb appeal.
We start with an in-person conversation about your project goals and narrowing down the scope. We will advise on the best approach, timeline, and an esteem - no obligation.
Proper prep is critical. We protect surrounding areas, address substrate conditions, and install the necessary weather barriers, flashing, and lath to ensure a solid foundation.
We install the full stucco system, whether traditional hard coat or EIFS, following manufacturer specifications and industry best practices for long-term performance.
We match your desired texture and color. We apply the finish coat with attention to detail making sure the necessary spots are covered.
We walk the project, check for quality and consistency, and make sure everything is completed to standard
